| | Summary |
Odin's Eye completes the story. Hagen kills Siegfried and he is sent to his funeral with the ring. Brunnhilda joins him. The whole of Thor adventures in mortal guise was a plot by Odin to rid the Gods of the curse of the Niberling. Realising his failure Odin pins himself to the World Ash. The Celestials arrive and he frees himself and consults Mimir, who tells him of the judgement. The Gods meet and promise not to interfere for a millennium. Odin creates the Odinsword from the Rhinegold and the Destroyer for the final fight. Having learned all this Thor departs for Asgard only to find the Gods lifeless. Mimir tells him they have gone to fight the Celestials. The Uni-Mind and the Destroyer, powered by all the Gods of Asgard and armed with the Odinsword, break into the Celestial's dome and confront them. Thor joins the battle but the Destroyer is vanquished. Enraged, Thor fells Arishem with the Odinsword, but to no effect and the sword is destroyed. All appears lost but Mother Earth appears and offers the Young Gods for the Earth. The offer is accepted and the judgement is given, Earth is to live. The Celestials depart.
