Approaching Numalia, Conan rescues a woman from wolves. She hires him to steal a Bowl, which is a gift from Stygia to Karanthes. Breaking into the House of Relics, Conan is discovered and then attacked by a Son of Set, which he kills. Seeing the face of Thoth-Amon in the bowl, Conan flees the city.
